The gym doesn't have to be an intimidating place
Gain the knowledge and confidence you need to make the gym feel like a space for Joyful Movement
I've been a personal trainer for ten years, and the things I hear most often from new clients, especially women, is that the gym is intimidating. They aren't sure what to do or how to do it properly. They are uncertain about how the equipment works. They are afraid of hurting themselves. They are afraid people will stare or that they will look stupid. If that sounds familiar, you are in the right place.
Joyful Movement Basics:
6 Weeks to Gym Confidence
Joyful Movement Basics is a 6 week, small group program designed specifically to help you gain the knowledge and confidence to make using the gym a safe and enjoyable part of your self care routine.
In my years as a personal trainer, one of the biggest barriers that I've seen people experience in their effort to commit to a long term exercise routine, is not actually enjoying the activity. For many, not feeling confident, safe, or even welcome in the gym, means never stepping foot in the door, or never sticking to it for the long run. While joyful movement is certainly not limited to the gym space, the benefits of weight training for physical and mental well being are undeniable.
In joining Joyful Movement Basics, you will gain the tools you need to:
-
Understand and utilize gym equipment
-
Perform exercises safely and effectively
-
Plan your own workouts
-
Have a healthy workout mindset
-
Keep coming back to the gym with confidence
